I've been mining in and around Franklin for years and have found that the gems from Cherokee are of the highest quality. The real treat is the staff @ Cherokee. Maria and her sons make you feel @ home, anticipating your next visit. A visit here will leave memories that last a lifetime. |

If you're looking for a place that is fun for the entire family... THIS IS IT... Cherokee Ruby is the place to go, no matter what age, it's fun and relaxing for everyone. We even bring the portable playpen for our 1 year old and he has a blast watching everyone and hanging out under the umbrella!! The staff makes everyone feel right at home!! THANKS For many great weekends!! We'll be back soon. |

| this mine gets two thumbs up. I have been to all the mines in franklin and this is by far the best. The staff treats you just like family. They are so friendly and nice. Ray and his children along with Tony were so helpful. thank you for a great time. |

| We had such a blast on our visit! Our finds included 4.6 carat violet sapphire, several nice rubies, pieces of garnet, moonstone, and rutile. To all reading, Cherokee gets my highest possible recommendation, and the folks are just wonderful! |

| We first visited the mine last year and had a wonderful and educational experience. Maria is truly a gem. She is so patient and helpful and her enthusiasm is contagious. We returned again this year. We found a large sapphire, several garnets, rutiles,and siliminites. Even without these finds, it would have been a great relaxing way to spend a day in the mountains. We hope to make it an annual excursion. |
