Directions from Franklin Business Hwy 441 North, to Hwy 28-North, located near the center of town. Follow 28N until passing Cowee Baptist Church on your right. Merge right, on Cowee Creek Road just ahead. Follow Cowee Creek Rd. until it becomes Ruby Mine Road by staying right at any fork in the road. Stay on Ruby Mind Rd to the mine entrance, on the left. Approximate drive time from Franklin is 25-30 minutes.

 

Directions from Asheville I-40 West, to Exit 27. Stay on 23 South to Hwy 441 South (Exit 81). Take 441 South approx. 14 miles, to Sanderstown Road, (located on the right side of the road, between Mountain City Mobile Homes and Burglens Rock Shop). Make right, onto Sanderstown Road & follow to its end. Turn right at stop sign, onto Hwy 28 North. Follow directions above to mine's entrance.

Directions from Atlanta Follow US 441 North into Franklin, then turn right onto Main Street.  Take immediate left onto Hwy 28 North. Follow directions above from Franklin to get to ruby mine.
